What ! Angels Talking To Me!
For starters lets clarify some meanings:

So what is this all about! Had an unusual dream about the book "Our Ultimate Reality", In this dream I was reading some directory files. While I do see printed material in dreams, never have been able to actually read those entries, until last night! This all was so real that it woke me up from dreaming.
[Was more to the dream, not detailed here.]
But the gist of the dream was "I was able to actually read the files in the dream". Even more to my surprise, "I was aware in the dream, that I never before was able to read text in a dream". So while in my sleep, and dreaming, AND reading the text, certain questions came to mind. So I contacted the books author, with the questions from my dream. Now the good part. The author stated that "yes, what I had asked, was indeed, a matter he had, had under consideration for a possible future project".
Now I'm left with a "what is this all about, reading text in a dream, contacting the books author about it, and it being a valid situation, from a person that I've never met, but whose interesting books I've read."
Why I ask myself, did this happen, but no answers were popping up. A few days later, I'm doing an online search for another project, and below the topic I was ready to click open, was an offer for some free ebooks within the scope of my interests. A dozen ebooks were listed.
I spot one free offer of "What Happens When You Talk To Angels".
Only recently have I given any thought to Angels, due the recent passing of my son, and my intense desire to make contact with him. So I click the title open, and quickly see the text that gives me my "AHAA', about what may be taking place.

# 31 Psychic Feeling Tones and The Talker

Have been asked what are the "feeling tones" you mention?
So what are the "feeling tones", I mention, here in my blogs! Hard to describe what words fail to convey. Psychic action is where it all starts. At a certain point of reawakening latent psychic talent through meditation, reading, and the doing, certain weak or strong points will manifest. Going to deliberately avoid the usual terms or descriptions used to describe psychic activity. We all have psychic abilities, period. Regardless if you believe it or not. (see the posts listed) With some, the strong points will show as a: seeing, feeling, or hearing. Weak points can be a mix of all three giving a confusing situation. Here is where I run into a problem finding the words to describe how I know a psychic something is starting to taking place. How in the world can you describe "seeing a feeling", or "hearing a seeing" and even more awkward "sensing a seeing - hearing and feeling" all at the same time!
So in that I'm not an advanced psychic in that sense of the word, I simply call the admixture "feeling tones". No flashing neon signs, no crystal clear voices like a radio, no television screen showing a specific scene. The closest I can get to describing it is : a tapestry like feeling, a multi-colored seeing of it, sensing of an out of place cloudiness in the tapestry. My focus will be on the cloudiness, as that segment is what appears out of tune, with the rest of what is being felt at that moment. Nothing at all like one watches on television. Once focus is in the cloudiness portion of the (tapestry), other feelings tones will come up that one still has to clarify.
Many clarifications are accurate, some are complete misses perhaps due to my interpretation of that feeling. Anyway, regardless of what any may call it, hunches, intuition, or guessing, some thing is/ has taken place beyond the norm.
My trigger point is a very brief momentary sharpening of awareness, that warns me that something is about to take place. So I choose to simply call the whole confusing situation "feeling tones".
Aggravating is not being able to readily invoke that "feeling tone". Even more aggravating was a "no warning at all" during a serious incident that took place in our home, on the first floor, while I was in the basement doing laundry. Do believe I understand the "why and how" of it now, but will leave the telling for another time.

# 30 Talkers Thought's On Qigong

Seems that the more I read and study various disciplines, the more aware I become of, that which I do not know. As I curiously ventured into what is called Qigong, the more it became a vast area of "I know nothing or very little about Qigong". Am amazing process, that is older it seems, than any religion. Yet it is not a religion, at least from what I am reading about it.
So at this point, here are my views on "what is qigong practice on and about".

At 23:00 h, yang energy starts to increase, due to changes of activity deep inside the earth, caused by the sun during the day.

On a full moon night, ones qi and blood circulate more vigorously.

That there is a best hour in a day, a best day in a month,
there are best times in a year, for maximum qi energy flow.

Qi energy possess"thoughts", chooses "direction", controls degree of "power", "knows" the right time to cooperate
and when to retreat.

Qigong has "thinking" ability, has ability to control the "self",
and has "adjusting " ability.

Emotions affect movement of qi energy.

Persistent qigong practice has an accumulative effect
and stores within one.

Stored qigong energy keeps the immune system tuned naturally.

Qigong practice energy "wakes up" organs in the body.

Certain herbal formulas, adjusted to ones needs, enhance qi energy flow.

Unless stored qi energy is at maximum, qi energy alone does not
necessarily unblock, energy blockages.

Certain herbal formulas properly used, allows ones qi energy, to harmoniously work with the herbal energy to correct blockage and allow rejuvenation of targeted organs to proceed.

Qi energy can alter DNA and RNA's molecular structure.

Qigong can affect microorganisms genetic make up, and even kill germs.

Qi energy can contain material similar to ultraviolet, gamma, and beta rays.

Qigong focuses on the relationship between the
inner body and the outer world.

Primary qi at its ultimate, can transcend worldly
needs, such as food and water.

Qigong practice is not just performing the physical movements, but also reaching the heart and mind levels, to produce desired harmony.

Certain physical locations will accumulate a charge, build, and
"sustain" an "energy field", be it is a spot, room, or place.

Performing qigong in these "charged" places, which can be felt by some, allows one to reach higher states of energy levels.

Qigong practice can an enhance psychic awareness.

Third eye opening can take place, beyond what is called sixth sense.

Qigong is easy to practice on the one hand, but on the other hand, difficult to truly comprehend.

Doing qigong practice is not necessarily the same as, doing qigong using spirit, soul and body.

Doing the movements only, is not the same as qigong practice.

Some of the above, I've experienced. Not all, and not all has yet been verified as being accurate and true. To what degree one is even able to ascertain validity, is another aspect to ponder. The scope and magnitude of what has been ascribed to qigong practice is almost beyond belief, at any level of awareness. Only at this date and time is some mind boggling concepts written above, are supposedly being verified as "true". As I read the dates that reflect time in years and what I'm reading about today, I am in awe that this knowledge was known and written about 5000 years ago, and I've only touched the tip of what was written at that time. Do need to allow more qigong practice to take place.

# 29 Who Is That In The Mirror!

Once upon a time, so far back, it seems it may have been another lifetime. But no, it was that period of time, I had become aware of hypnosis, scrying, and other little variances, I read about. So being of a curious mind, did do various experiments, that in that time slot, were considered, some what weird in nature. The word psychic just never entered normal conversation.
Back in those days, prior to the Web, one either heard, or read about those, weird by nature things. Did accumulate a bunch of added Hail Marys and Our Fathers, to say/pray, when in the confessional, and I would wake up the priest hearing my confession from his reverie, by what was being confessed. Oh lordy, would he be be jumping in the confessional, if it were done today.

Don't actually recall the precise author of what triggered my curiosity at the time, but off I went. Some thing to do with past lives and how to see those past life faces. Will only do a rough outline, on what I did, setup wise. OK, seems a darkened room was a requisite, and naturally a mirror large enough to view ones head in the reflection. So various methods of small lamps, no lamps, votive size candles, reflected light, ambient light and so on. Now if you think it feels crazy trying those things, consider what ones family is thinking, while your off in a corner doing the woo-woo thing. Hypnosis at that time, was always about deep trance, eyes closed. So that was out. Needed eyes open, for what I wanted to do. So light trance, or what is now called the deep relaxed state, entered the experiment. Keep in mind that this was all trial and error. Many were the times I would bust out laughing at what I was trying and doing. Of course this was spread out over many weeks of experimentation, on an, on/off cycle. Some time periods were 30 or so minutes. Other periods would slip into an hour or more. Had absolutely no idea of what to expect or what the heck I was supposed to "see". Don't recall the total length of months involved, doing this silly thing, but believe it was at least two months. Once the light and props seemed right, came the very boring part. Sit and look at the reflection in the mirror. Could only do it a few minutes at a time at first. Now force myself to gaze for a longer period of time. Well, the forcing only caused a stress energy, so had to relax more and sneak in a longer gazing session. Many times it would have been easy to just forget it all, and just quit. Than one session, I had a " oops, what was that ". Imagination of course, I said. Nothing more for a few sessions, and than " pow ". It did get interesting. Am I going to say more about it, nope, don't want to influence you in any way. Get you're own "oops" experience.

Dear Gary,
I just wanted to tell you about a fun session I had recently that I think would fit under the title of “performance enhancement.”
I received an email from a fellow practitioner asking me if I would work with him regarding his psychic abilities. As a healer, he felt like he had difficulty tuning into to his clients the way others did. It was an intriguing opportunity so we set up a time to meet.
Now I have to preface this by saying that I own an alternative health care and educational center and I have lots of tools in my belt. While I was drawn to using EFT for this particular issue, I wasn’t sure that that was the way to go simply because my client is also a trained practitioner and I was fairly certain that he had already worked on it at home.
Anyway, when he arrived we discussed our options and I said that I really thought EFT was the way to go on this. He agreed but wanted to try something else first. (“Can’t you do something that will open my third eye or something.”)
So, we started by getting a baseline. We chose a fairly straightforward test where we would use three flash cards. I would hold them up so that he couldn’t see what they were, then project an image to him, and he would write down which one he thought it was. So, on our first try it was pretty clear why he had sought me out as he was only correct on 2 out of 10 times.
So then we decided to open his third eye and see if that would make any difference. So, using another protocol, we set out to do just this. When everything was open, we tested again and were chagrined to see that we had made little to no headway. This time he got 3 out of 10, which wasn’t a significant enough result to think that we had really made any change. So, we decided to try EFT.
Even though I feel so much pressure…
Even though I’m afraid I’ll get it wrong…
Even though I don’t think I know the answer…
After a few rounds, we did our little test again, but to no avail. He was still at a 2 out of 10 for correct answers. This, of course, called for more tapping and this is a general sample of the topics we covered.
Even though I feel like I’m behind and I can’t catch up…
Even though I feel like I missed something…
Even though I’m afraid of failing…
Even though I don’t think I can do this…
Even though I’m not as good as those other people…
And then we sort of stumbled on what I think was the big kicker for him:
Even though my left brain is clogged…
It was a funny statement, but it seemed like it woke up something in the left brain and there was a clear change. So, we tried the test again only this time with drastically different results. This time he got 7 out of 10! It was amazing. He went from a baseline of 20% and jumped to 70% in just a few minutes.
This, however, caused lots of worry and pressure that it might be an anomaly and that he just got lucky. What if we did it again and he went back to a 2 or 3? He wouldn’t be able to take the disappointment. So, we decided to tap on that.
Even though I’m afraid that it was a freak accident…
Even though I’m afraid to believe in myself…
Even though this can’t be true…
And then we tested again. Interestingly, he maintained a very high result of 5 out of 10, still significantly higher than the earlier results but not the slam-dunk that was hoped for. So even though time was running short, we did one more round on Even though my left brain in clogged… and tested again. Amazingly, he got 7 out of 10 again. We were both flabbergasted and very pleased.
Overall, I’d say he went from a fairly consistently 20% accuracy to a fairly consistent 70% accuracy in less than an hour. That's a tripled improvement! So, it looks like this is proof positive that EFT works on eliminating those barriers to our psychic abilities, and isn’t that something we can all benefit from!

Well, say some thing about it, comes back Babbler's voice. Well, as mentioned in another post, I had trained with Burt, decades ago. Part of the Silva seminars at that time. Did read on an Amazon comment, that Burt's material in a recently published book ( 2003 ) The Power of Self Mind Control
( ISBN 0-9724014-7-4 ) , is ancient and rehashed material. Maybe we should forget about the teachings of Jesus, Allah, and the Buddha! ( did I get that right! ) Have read Burt's book, and it is a neat review of many exercises, that were taught at the sessions. Yes, in light of all the super hype and fancy advertisements, one could say " ancient " material, but consider now, just " who " is now doing the rehash bit, to give a new look to " ancient teachings "! Read all you want on psychic training, if you don't focus on the basics and "practice, practice, and more practice ", it is an iffy situation. Special music for brain entrainment, is what is new, and useful, but the music used alone, gives a new tool, without directions on how to properly use it, in your new skill. I felt that my post on a forum, at another web-site, was germane enough to what I express on this blog of mine, to re post it here. I've listed that forums web address, and it has tons of worthwhile information and links. Have purposely shied away from posting specific ways to develop / reawaken psychic talents. Ah, you're right. Psychically going to that place, or person, using you're psychic ability. Wonderful, isn't it. Didn't know you could do it did you. Oh, excuse me, the phone is ringing, and you just " know " who is calling.
Little things of that nature are just accepted without thought. Yet that is psychic ability in action.

I don't just believe it, I know it.
Eventually you would get to use/try, many methods as you get more experience.
Far to many teachers cloak their training with material, that is not required to learn and develop basic psychic abilities. Am not saying that this is wrong, only that its not initially required. What is required is practice, practice and more practice, with the basics. This site ( forums ) has good material available, as do many others. Another point is, one is not learning it, one is reawakening their ability. Over the course of decades, I've used free, purchased, and seminars, to reawaken, that which can be reawakened. Now, regardless of how the material is obtained, one can get the feel for new approaches to the reawakening process, even if the material , is only so so. It would be unfair of me to say that one method is superior to another. What method fails , so to speak, for one person, could be a wonderful life changing situation for another. With all the information available on-line, I do not put much on my blogs, for relearning the process. There are many other sites with great offerings. Another situation I question, is the many posts, and arguments over spoon bending, challenges by certain doubters, and the questioning of psychic ability. Is why I don't even post to some taunts. Now I'm not a highly gifted psychic, but I am psychic. So are you. Some days are " humming " with psychic activity and awareness, other days I may not even be aware if some calamity is in the works, and it actually happens to take place. As mentioned in these posts, some are more gifted and psychic action just happens for them, easily. I do cover some of my experiences along these line. on my blogs. To my knowledge, I'm not able to name any psychic, that could be classified, fully functional, in every category of psychic ability. The ones that might fall into that class, could be Jesus, and Edgar Cayce. Probably are some more, I just don't recall them.

So, if you want or desire to be psychic, just start by believing you can be, and are psychic, because you actually are psychic.

Have been reading a recently purchased book " Courageous Souls" by Robert Schwartz. It pose the question " Do we plan our life challenges before birth?" This is a question that has long been in my mind. So when I saw this title, it immediately became a "must have and read", title. So many situations in peoples lives, just defy understanding. Recognized is the fact, that no God presents these "gifts" to you. So , what actually is taking place! Have pretty much kept it all bottled up. Still need to open the door and face reality here. When I'm ready it will happen. So, while checking my e-mail, and not paying much attention to anything in particular, am not sure how I wound up at a website called "Tickle". This site has numerous tests for determining ones ESP level. The least thing, on my mind, was my ESP level. Almost clicked away from it, but thought maybe this will help refocus my thoughts. My heart was not really into doing this. But I did it, at warp speed , just to get it over with, and with the thought in mind, my score would be "forget it". Now a screen pops up and says for $9.95, I can get the full report. I thought" that's nice", and clicked away. But a few days later there is an e-mail stating there is a way to get it free.
( No, I'm not going to tell you )

Anyway, I was rather surprised at the scores ( LOL ). All in all it was a nicely detailed report, and in retrospect, would have been worth the $9.95. How reliable these reports are, I'm not sure, but it sure did reflect, and quite well at that, that, which I know "is there".
Yes, I do feel somewhat better for having done this.

Have recovered some notes, that went into the way one "feels" when "recognition sets in" regards "coincidences" in ones life. Did delete some names and correct errors from the original spelling, done a few years back. These were posted on a site that was deep into the "unusual events in ones life".
I do use various pen names according to the frame of mind I'm in, and blog I'm posting too. Have deliberately, not posted, techniques and practices used. At this time am not inclined to do so. Future, maybe !

Finding of these sites that are beyond the mundane are most welcome. It is going to be a new experience, being able to converse with others that have also traveled along these not so mundane paths. Will need to research my notes and refresh my memory, regards the unusual events, that were, seemingly , unexplainable at the time they took place. Where to start. At what point does one actually realize that "odd things" are happening, and in some manner, this "odd thing" is no longer a coincidence. Is some what mind boggling, and shakes up ones belief factors. Have always had a deep sense "some thing is lacking" in my existence, but could not pin any thing down to a specific. Belief factors waxed and waned. Solid foundations from childhood are being shaken-up. What is taking place! As doors are opened and other teachings with what seems radically different, from that which one grew up with, causes internal conflict. Receptivity to the new, is easy for some. In my case, it was two steps forward and five steps backward, belief wise. So now, my mental doors doubt started opening and closing at around seven years of age. Lots of water over, under and around the bridge since those days.
Once my research was under way, some semblance of "this could be" set in. In that this Forum is about ( changed the forums name here)"psychic awareness", can only say , that is what I mentally came into. Nothing earth shaking of course, but for me it was a step forward with no backward steps. Do I hear some one saying, "who wants to hear about your back ground ?" I think its important to know that I wasn't born with a natural ability for the things talked about in this forum. No bolt of lightening, no bump on the head or things one hears about, that caused one to have "unusual abilities". Just plain research and practice, with an open mind. No longer concerned with the "raised eyebrow", of what I say or do. For some reason , I was locked into the belief, that only "special" kinds of people were gifted . It is a relief to know that "I" can also share and function, using those acquired gifts. It is my desire to offer hope to any, along the theme of this forum, that find it difficult to believe in what is read there. Will get down to the nitty-gritty of things experienced in future posts.

You felt good,when the hourly rate went from 0.575 way up to .675. ( that's less than tax on a Whopper and fries today) Family started, beat up old rusty Chev. Big dream was to own a home and get away from the cranky landlords While there were a number of "odd" books coming into my awareness, (at that time), that started the "new belief factors", one did and still does stand out. "The Secret Of The Ages". Deep thought and a tremendous shake-up of belief factors. Wow, that's radical thinking. Give it a whack! ( was now crossing the taboo lines of my religion ) Had spotted a home that was up for sale, that ran along the lines of my "dream Home". Applied what I had read in the book. Numerous miscues, ups, downs, frustrations, dare to dream it, forget it, recall it, and finally "stick to it". Ah, sweet success. Yes, there is more to the tale here, but it DID happen, under impossible circumstances at the time. Have kept this as short as I was able too, but would do another post with nitty-gritty fill-in details, if anyone was interested in reading it?

Ancient One, I must say that you have opened the doorway for RI in almost every respect here. Would it be possible (and if you really did wish to do such a thing) for you to document the incorporated steps/procedures in how you did accomplish this? At this time I myself am doing such things as documenting how I feel anyone can also do such things. You may even find better and faster ways to RI, as you do document it all in greater details. If so, maybe we could compare notes on such ways of RI, in order to perfect such skills? Do you feel that you are a natural at doing RI, then? Well given the fact that (like me) you had to open your mind a bit before doing so.

Point of clarification needed here, on that first "Dream House" experience. While I had related some specifics as regards feelings and conditions that prevailed , there were prior "coincidences" that in introspection, were actually of the same nature, but on a minute scale, unrecognized by me at the time. Showing in that post, was what I consider "the turning point in awareness". No, never considered myself as a "natural" in that sense of the word, but am delving deeper into that aspect, as a matter of interest. So yes, am already capturing the nitty-gritty details of the "how" it came to pass. Doing the write-up off line though, so I can be more specific and accurate. Have found that many of the "unusual" books, created far to many unanswered questions and conditions that were troublesome to me. Just the knowing of ( for others ) the prevailing conditions and attitudes experienced along the way,may prove helpful. Not sure at this moment when the posting will take place as I am needed out on the West coast ( another story ) for a number of weeks.

- Today at 18:21 ( name deleted), along the same lines of the topics being read here, I had reached various "stick" points. Having no one to talk with, that was willing to step out of the "box" thought wise, did build internal stress and conflict. So I did start a Blog, to hard copy my thoughts. Have found that even though one "thinks" they are aware of their belief factors, its not necessarily, what they actually believe. During what I call "my research" have found that "what I thought, I believed in, was not what I wrote as hard copy. Question became, "why the variance?" and where did it come "from". At this point coupled with other research, "free will", became an issue with me. An issue that was a troublesome conflict internally. If one "can" have anything they desire, yet its not happening as "worked",where and what ,is the "block"! So anyway, here are some thoughts on that. Free Will - Truth or Fiction

Where to start and arrange the words and subjects covered into a congruous read! Honestly, and unfortunately, there will be no solution, no real answers, regards topics covered. Everything presented here is abstract speculation. Metaphysics, religion, God, Higher Power, spirituality, and reality are mainly speculation.
One would think that at least reality could be understood. We experience it every day. Watch it though, seems that scientists have now found that quantum physics, indicates, that what we experience as our world, is not what we think it is. Still trying to sort this one out. Will at this time, leave out most of reality talk, for another post. Part of ones reality seems to include "free will". That leads to choices and decisions. For instance, one can cheat, lie, harm another or purchase a purple and orange suit for dress up. Perhaps you helped care for a hurt animal or bird, maybe risked you life to help save a person in trouble. Even donated some cash to a charity while behind in paying the rent. So you made a decision and a choice. What you did was free will in action , right, or was it!
One classical complaint regards free will, is mentioned in the bible. If your interested go to Romans 7:15-24. So now one needs to ask, does one truly have "free will". This can be quite troublesome in ones life. Is there an explanation to this seeming paradox? Yes and no, are both in action here, at least it seems to be so. Have over time really pondered this issue. Also seems that others have looked into this issue. I've listed one site, that has gone into the subject quite well. It makes sense, but how to prove it, still remains an issue with me. Is it even possible to verify in any way? While I do have beliefs on this subject, will need to pursue it further.

# 16 Natal Chart - Now and Then - and Why Blog !

My "Babbler" raised the question again, of the numerous blogs, I maintain. So I asked myself the same question, "why", do I do it. Numerous reasons cropped up that could have been the real reason of doing the blogs. Many human qualities came to mind, vanity, ego (LOL), and a few others that didn't ring true. So I did what I frequently do, when faced with a situation like this. I pulled my old copy of a natal chart print out and re-read it. Of course, I was cherry picking, looking for what could apply to the question posed here. For what it's worth, here are my cherry pickings:

(Ascendant is Cancer) is in the Second Decan/-sensitivity toward creative expression))

(Sun is in Gemini) a nonconformist seeking new and exciting lifestyle, especially if you can talk about them-easily depressed and need several ongoing interests to keep you happy))

([Sun is in the 12th House] your activities center on serving the needs of others, often from behind the scenes)

([Sun is Squared to Uranus] your insistence on having your own way, which often seems eccentric)

(Mercury is in the First House) your daily activities usually requires that you express yourself by talking and by writing))

Was quite interesting rereading my natal chart, in the present moment, and seeing what parts were valid, in relation to what was stated at that time.It was many years ago, then I wrote the following:
"Ones natal Horoscope does not "predict" what you're going to be like. This is so frequently misunderstood. You're reading is merely saying "at the time of conception or birth, these are the planetary influences you were in endowed with".There is severe controversy on so many aspects of astrology, that it boggles ones mind to wade through the Pro and Con of it all. I make no case for or against astrology. The system and methodology I follow is also up for grabs. Draw your own conclusions based on the gut reaction. Some traits may only indicate that given the right conditions, "here is what could" take place."
I may be biased, but I would say that there was a high percentage of hits. Whether this is just a fluke or a one in a billion "coincidence", I'm pleased with its accuracy.
I should know, for I have lived it.
So for the original question, I guess I do Blogs for the pleasure of doing it, and sharing, with whomever cares to read it, the good, the bad, and the indifferent, experiences of life.

# 15 Random Reality and Psychic Reality

This was just found. It is a hard read, and some what matches along with what was covered in post # 13. These two posts, #13, and this one, fit in beautifully with the Seth material, written by Jane Roberts. Notice that I didnt say " ahaa, now I understand it all", but "some" loose ends were tied together. Bit by bit, and still way over my head at this point, perhaps one day, I'll intuit it into a cohesive understanding. Anyway these scientists are first now, coming up with what Seth was explaining, about reality, some 25 years ago.

Random Reality

Space and the material world could be created out of nothing but noise. That's the startling conclusion of a new theory that attempts to explain the stuff of reality.
If you could lift a corner of the veil that shrouds reality, what would you see beneath? Nothing but randomness, say two Australian physicists. According to Reginald Cahill and Christopher Klinger of Flinders University in Adelaide, space and time and all the objects around us are no more than the froth on a deep sea of randomness.
Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised that randomness is a part of the Universe. After all, physicists tell us that empty space is a swirling chaos of virtual particles. And randomness comes into play in quantum theory -- when a particle such as an electron is observed, its properties are randomly selected from a set of alternatives predicted by the equations.
But Cahill and Klinger believe that this hints at a much deeper randomness. "Far from being merely associated with quantum measurements, this randomness is at the very heart of reality," says Cahill. If they are right, they have created the most fundamental of all physical theories, and its implications are staggering. "Randomness generates everything," says Cahill. "It even creates the sensation of the 'present', which is so conspicuously absent from today's physics."
Their evidence comes from a surprising quarter -- pure mathematics. In 1930, the Austrian-born logician Kurt G -- del stunned the mathematical world with the publication of his incompleteness theorem. It applied to formal systems -- sets of assumptions and the statements that can be deduced from those assumptions by the rules of logic. For example, the Greeks developed their geometry using a few axioms, such as the idea that there is only one straight line through any pair of points. It seemed that a clever enough mathematician could prove any theorem true or false by reasoning from axioms.
But G -- del proved that, for most sets of axioms, there are true theorems that cannot be deduced. In other words, most mathematical truths can never be proved.
This bombshell could easily have sent shock waves far beyond mathematics. Physics, after all, is couched in the language of maths, so G -- del's theorem might seem to imply that it is impossible to write down a complete mathematical description of the Universe from which all physical truths can be deduced. Physicists have largely ignored G -- del's result, however. "The main reason was that the result was so abstract it did not appear to connect directly with physics," says Cahill.
But then, in the 1980s, Gregory Chaitin of IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York, extended G -- del's work, and made a suggestive analogy. He called G -- del's unprovable truths random truths. What does that mean? Mathematicians define a random number as one that is incompressible. In other words, it cannot be generated by an algorithm -- a set of instructions or rules such as a computer program -- that is shorter than the number. Chaitin defined random truths as ones that cannot be derived from the axioms of a given formal system. A random truth has no explanation, it just is.
Chaitin showed that a vast ocean of such truths surrounds the island of provable theorems. Any one of them might be stumbled on by accident -- an equation might be accidentally discovered to have some property that cannot be derived from the axioms -- but none of them can be proved. The chilling conclusion, wrote Chaitin in New Scientist, is that randomness is at the very heart of pure mathematics (24 March 1990, p 44).
To prove his theorem, G -- del had concocted a statement that asserted that it was not itself provable. So G -- del's and Chaitin's results apply to any formal system that is powerful enough to make statements about itself.
"This is where physics comes in," says Cahill. "The Universe is rich enough to be self-referencing -- for instance, I'm aware of myself." This suggests that most of the everyday truths of physical reality, like most mathematical truths, have no explanation. According to Cahill and Klinger, that must be because reality is based on randomness. They believe randomness is more fundamental than physical objects.
At the core of conventional physics is the idea that there are "objects" -- things that are real, even if they don't interact with other things. Before writing down equations to describe how electrons, magnetic fields, space and so on work, physicists start by assuming that such things exist. It would be far more satisfying to do away with this layer of assumption.
This was recognized in the 17th century by the German mathematician Gottfried Leibniz. Leibniz believed that reality was built from things he called monads, which owed their existence solely to their relations with each other. This picture languished in the backwaters of science because it was hugely difficult to turn into a recipe for calculating things, unlike Newton's mechanics.
But Cahill and Klinger have found a way to do it. Like Leibniz's monads, their "pseudo-objects" have no intrinsic existence -- they are defined only by how strongly they connect with each other, and ultimately they disappear from the model. They are mere scaffolding.
The recipe is simple: take some pseudo-objects, add a little randomness and let the whole mix evolve inside a computer. With pseudo-objects numbered 1, 2, 3, and so on, you can define some numbers to represent the strength of the connection between each pair of pseudo-objects: B12 is the strength of the connection between 1 and 2; B13 the connection between 1 and 3; and so on. They form a two-dimensional grid of numbers -- a matrix.
The physicists start by filling their matrix with numbers that are very close to zero. Then they run it repeatedly through a matrix equation which adds random noise and a second, non-linear term involving the inverse of the original matrix. The randomness means that most truths or predictions of this model have no cause -- the physical version of Chaitin's mathematical result. This matrix equation is largely the child of educated guesswork, but there are good precedents for that. In 1932, for example, Paul Dirac guessed at a matrix equation for how electrons behave, and ended up predicting the existence of antimatter.
When the matrix goes through the wringer again and again, most of the elements remain close to zero, but some numbers suddenly become large. "Structures start forming," says Cahill. This is no coincidence, as they chose the second term in the equation because they knew it would lead to something like this. After all, there is structure in the Universe that has to be explained.
The structures can be seen by marking dots on a piece of paper to represent the pseudo-objects 1, 2, 3, and so on. It doesn't matter how they are arranged. If B23 is large, draw a line between 2 and 3; if B19 is large, draw one between 1 and 9. What results are "trees" of strong connections, and a lot of much weaker links. And as you keep running the equation, smaller trees start to connect to others. The network grows.
The trees branch randomly, but Cahill and Klinger have found that they have a remarkable property. If you take one pseudo-object and count its nearest neighbors in the tree, second nearest neighbors, and so on, the numbers go up in proportion to the square of the number of steps away (click on thumbnail graphic below). This is exactly what you would get for points arranged uniformly throughout three-dimensional space. So something like our space assembles itself out of complete randomness. "It's downright creepy," says Cahill. Cahill and Klinger call the trees "gebits", because they act like bits of geometry. Tree roots: pseudo-objects link up into random trees, which link into ever larger structures. The hierarchy of neighbors is just like that of points in 3D space
They haven't proved that this tangle of connections is like 3D space in every respect, but as they look closer at their model, other similarities with our Universe appear. The connections between pseudo-objects decay, but they are created faster than they decay. Eventually, the number of gebits increases exponentially. So space, in Cahill and Klinger's model, expands and accelerates -- just as it does in our Universe, according to observations of the recession of distant supernovae. In other words, Cahill and Klinger think their model might explain the mysterious cosmic repulsion that is speeding up the Universe's expansion.
And this expanding space isn't empty. Topological defects turn up in the forest of connections -- pairs of gebits that are far apart by most routes, but have other shorter links. They are like snags in the fabric of space. Cahill and Klinger believe that these defects are the stuff we are made of, as described by the wave functions of quantum theory, because they have a special property shared by quantum entities: nonlocality. In quantum theory, the properties of two particles can be correlated, or "entangled", even when they are so far apart that no signal can pass between them. "This ghostly long-range connectivity is apparently outside of space," says Cahill. But in Cahill and Klinger's model of reality, there are some connections that act like wormholes to connect far-flung topological defects.
Even the mysterious phenomenon of quantum measurement can be seen in the model. In observing a quantum system any detector ought to become entangled with the system in a joint quantum state. We would see weird quantum superpositions like Schr -- dinger's alive-and-dead cat. But we don't.
How does the quantum state "collapse" to a simple classical one? In Cahill and Klinger's model, the nonlocal entanglements disappear after many iterations of the matrix equation. That is, ordinary 3D space reasserts itself after some time, and the ghostly connection between measuring device and system is severed.
This model could also explain our individual experience of a present moment. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, all of space-time is laid out like a four-dimensional map, with no special "present" picked out for us to feel. "Einstein thought an explanation of the present was beyond theoretical physics," says Cahill. But in the gebit picture, the future is not predetermined. You never know what it will bring, because it is dependent on randomness. "The present is therefore real and distinct from an imagined future and a recorded past," says Cahill.
Sand castles
But why can't we detect this random dance of the pseudo-objects? "Somehow, in the process of generating reality, the pseudo-objects must become hidden from view," says Cahill. To simulate this, the two physicists exploited a phenomenon called self-organised criticality.
Self-organised criticality occurs in a wide range of systems such as growing sand piles. Quite spontaneously, these systems reach a critical state. If you drop sand grains one by one onto a sand pile, for instance, they build up and up into a cone until avalanches start to happen. The slope of the side of the cone settles down to a critical value, at which it undergoes small avalanches and big avalanches and all avalanches at all scales in between. This behavior is independent of the size and shape of the sand grains, and in general it is impossible to deduce anything about the building blocks of a self-organised critical system from its behavior In other words, the scale and timing of avalanches doesn't depend on the size or shape of the sand grains.
"This is exactly what we need," says Cahill. "If our system self-organises to a state of criticality, we can construct reality from pseudo-objects and simultaneously hide them from view." The dimensionality of space doesn't depend on the properties of the pseudo-objects and their connections. All we can measure is what emerges, and even though gebits are continually being created and destroyed, what emerges is smooth 3D space. Creating reality in this way is like pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, throwing away the bootstraps and still managing to stay suspended in mid-air.
This overcomes a problem with the conventional picture of reality. Even if we discover the laws of physics, we are still left with the question: where do they come from? And where do the laws that explain where they come from come from? Unless there is a level of laws that explain themselves, or turn out to be the only mathematically consistent set -- as Steven Weinberg of the University of Texas at Austin believes -- we are left with an infinite regression. "But it ceases to be a problem if self-organised criticality hides the lowest layer of reality," says Cahill. "The start-up pseudo-objects can be viewed as nothing more than a bundle of weakly linked pseudo-objects, and so on ad infinitum. But no experiment will be able to probe this structure, so we have covered our tracks completely."
Other physicists are impressed by Cahill and Klinger's claims. "I have never heard of anyone working on such a fundamental level as this," says Roy Frieden of the University of Arizona in Tucson. "I agree with the basic premise that 'everything' is ultimately random, but am still sceptical of the details." He would like to see more emerge from the model before committing himself. "It would be much more convincing if Cahill and Klinger could show something physical -- that is, some physical law -- emerging from this," says Frieden. "For example, if this is to be a model of space, I would expect something like Einstein's field equation for local space curvatures emerging. Now that would be something."
"It sounds rather far-out," says John Baez of the University of California at Riverside. "I would be amazed -- though pleased -- if they could actually do what you say they claim to."
"I've seen several physics papers like this that try to get space-time or even the laws of physics to emerge from random structures at a lower level," says Chaitin. "They're interesting efforts, and show how deeply ingrained the statistical point of view is in physics, but they are difficult, path-breaking and highly tentative efforts far removed from the mainstream of contemporary physics."
What next? Cahill and Klinger hope to find that everything -- matter and the laws of physics -- emerges spontaneously from the interlinking of gebits. Then we would know for sure that reality is based on randomness. It's a remarkable ambition, but they have already come a long way. They have created a picture of reality without objects and shown that it can emerge solely out of the connections of pseudo-objects. They have shown that space can arise out of randomness. And, what's more, a kind of space that allows both ordinary geometry and the non-locality of quantum phenomena -- two aspects of reality which, until now, have appeared incompatible.
Perhaps what is most impressive, though, is that Cahill and Klinger are the first to create a picture of reality that takes into account the fundamental limitations of logic discovered by G -- del and Chaitin. In the words of Cahill: "It is the logic of the limitations of logic that is ultimately responsible for generating this new physics, which appears to be predicting something very much like our reality."

# 13 Psychic Activity and What The Bleep Do We Know!

Well now, my Babbler has been prowling into subject rooms of my mind, bringing up what I call "loose straws". Things that did not fit into any coherent pattern. My Babbler has an insatiable desire to resolve the unresolvable litter of data that begs coherency, within my thought processes. Things that keeps slipping my thought processes, into a "Sisyphus" state, when pondering specific subjects. Much to my chagrin, the little snot, brought up "quantum mechanics". I really didn't want to wrestle with this one again, but am going to see where it takes me. Perhaps some semblance of clarity will set in, that may make sense to me, but to no others. I've often, "puzzled", with my minuscule knowledge of quantum mechanics, along with the leading scientists in the world, about it. Now, by no means am I a scientist, nor will I actually solve the puzzle, these scientists came up with. Now, I'm going to skip a lot of details, and get right to the question that they could not answer. Namely, "how can something, come from nowhere, appear, and then disappear into no-place ". When I first came across that data, it really got my attention. It still does, and I wanted to keep it buried, but alas, Babbler is serving it up again. I was somewhat annoyed and walked away to complete some household chores. While, so involved, some undulatory " feeling tones" came on in a nagging fashion, that didn't stop until I was back in my den. As I sat in my swivel chair and gazing at the mess around me, I swear, that a book's title was smiling at me. So I picked up the book, and you know what happened next don't you, it opened to a page containing a note placed there almost a year ago. Wow, talk about coincidence and ah-Ha's. I'll just read the paragraph that "my thumb, just happened to be pointing at", "distinguished people in their fields--in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, basic neurosciences, physics... who privately are very, very interested in... psychic phenomenon." So there was my ah Ha, and what my "Babbler" was prompting me to talk on. So now, let's see what comes out!
Apparently all the prior posts, asking "am I psychic, are you psychic, and words about psychic activity and psychic phenomenon, reminded my "Babbler" about the above quote, read almost a year ago. Another coincidence! Wow, fantastic. Now, I'm hard pressed to give a coherent answer here, but it appears that some part of the "feeling tones" I've talked about, can actually come from an unknown source, and location. Now, I can't prove it, but I do believe, that this unknown source and location, derives from the "Creator of All", that I call "God". Thinking on psychic activity and psychic phenomenon, from this viewpoint, lends credence somewhat, at least to me, on how psychic activity can take place. # 12 Psychic Lull Day

I was experiencing a "lull" day. So I took advantage of it, and went surfing on the Internet. Now you "psychically" knew, due to the nature of this blog, "what" I was going to be clicking on didn't you! ( LOL )
Naturally you "guessed", "psychic phenomena", and in all its glory, there they were, loaded with tons of "pro and con" postings. Asking, am I psychic, are you psychic, prove it, prove that you are a psychic, seems to be the theme of the day. Were many interesting sites. Quite obvious, on many of the sites though , was the "zero" in the comments section. It appears that many are interested in "psychic phenomenon", and being psychic, write about it, but, for what ever the reason, the readers of these psychic posts, hesitate to make a comment. I realize of course that leaving a comment is no longer a simple process.
What with nasty spammers being so prevalent, safety measures had to be taken. So entered the the added step, verification process, so, be it.
I did leave comments on a number of blogs. What the heck, these psychics, put it in a lot of effort sharing their knowledge with us. Why not a simple "hey a great job", or "thank you", to encourage the blogs continuance. Many of the psychic sites I visited were beautifully set up, and detailed psychic processes in great detail. Nicely covered, were the various methods of a psychic reading. Many psychic sites included the usage of what I call "tools of the trade." Tools like, the crystal ball, tarot cards, fragrances, tea leave reading and other items. But even an ordinary deck of playing cards, can be used as a psychic tool. Psychic tools can range from, highly sophisticated, to utter simplicity. It's rare, that I find, any explanation, of why these "psychic tools" are used. Basically, as I see it, they are used to achieve a "fine tuned" focus of "feeling tones".
A simile here, would be like, getting a flat tire, on your automobile while driving. Nothing psychic here, but definitely a change of focus. What changed the "feeling tone" of your original "focus"? It was the thump thump thump, of the flat tire. That got your attention. Your original thought pattern, while driving, was interrupted. What might your next thoughts, have been! Was it still on the music you were listening to, while driving, or was it on the car-jack you're going to have to use. Car-jack, takes first place, right ! Another change of focus takes place. Need a safe place to pull the car over to, while doing a tire change. Another rapid change of focus takes place, watch for moving traffic. Move out of the automobile, after shutting off the engine and removing the key. Insert the key to open the trunk. Many thoughts now enter your mind, rapidly changing your focus into various channels. Question like "do I have a jack", "will the jack work", "Hope nobody bangs into me while I'm changing the tire". All of this takes place quite rapidly and without any great effort on your part.
So, what did we have going here, a great psychic at work! There was a rapid changing of focus, until you got the desired results. Honing in on your feeling tones for psychic activity is much the same process. For the beginner, and perhaps, even for the more experienced psychic, there is a bit of a problem involved. Of all the psychic thoughts coming in, which is the most legitimate one to follow-through on.
Easy! Not necessarily, but definitely doable. In real estate, the prime words are "location, location, location". In learning any sport or skill, the prime words are "practice, practice, practice". From my point of view, the same would apply, in developing ones psychic abilities. Am I psychic, yes. Are you psychic, Yes. Now I can't prove it one way or the other, nor am I, even, going to try. But I do believe we all function at a psychic level, all the time. So why can things get to be, so messed up, at times? We just have not learned, to fully trust, and properly act upon our psychic intuition.

# 10 I Hear You Talking, But What Are You Saying!

Thanks KF. Like I had mentioned, getting comments from readers, helps me to readily recall events long, forgotten. You asked the question "I can't distinguish between my "ego" and the "voice",and perhaps you can comment on that at some point." It's an interesting question, and I have also wrestled with it.
Let me mention here, that " The Art of True Healing" book, is only a door opener into psychic activity. It may or may not be all one needs for a full-blown, WOW, I can do this, and not have to pay someone else to do it". Did mention elsewhere "different strokes for different folks".
Same applies with this re learning process.
With a tad of only "paying attention.", some what , the relearning process becomes, semi-automatic.
By actually and deliberately practicing, one finds that more and more " coincidences " (as nonbelievers call it) becomes more common".
Now for the "posed" question you asked. Depending on the specific event, that one's "babbler", is looking at, you/I, may not be able to tell " is this idle chatter or not." But there will be occasions when a (words do get in the way some times) more intense " Greater / clearer / clarity / seeing / feeling " accompanies the " feeling tone " that you would, without further questioning, just act upon. Yes, there will be flubs, misses, and a " not clear " event many times.
Again I mention, there are no flashing lights highlighting,
what you should " see or feel", nor is there, a beautiful voice, perfectly sounding out each word. I've been to psychic fairs, and it was quite an experience. After my first reading, I decided to use a few other psychics there, that were giving readings. All of the reading, were it seemed, what is called "cold readings". Some were better than others, but none could "see" the resolve to what was "posed" by me. In all fairness though, I did endeavor, holding the same "theme and feelings" for the various psychics I sat with. Each one came up with different " answers ", that led me to believe that " I could have done that ". Did that mean that the psychic was unreliable! No, not necessarily so. Assuming legitimacy, on their part, it probably meant only, that they were not able to hone in on the " time-frame involved."
(More on this later) Of course, at that time, I was very curious, and wondered " if you're a psychic, why can't you come up with an answer to what was "posed " ? These experiences took place many decades ago, when the word " psychic activity " was greatly misunderstood and always applied to someone else. So back to more research. Very interesting data began to surface.
Will endeavor to keep it simple and clear, something on the order of muddy clarity. (LOL). Keeping in mind, that psychic activity and healing are intimately entwined, will, help in understanding what I say next. Healing of one sort or another can be found in many ancient texts, but I don't recall any mention of psychic abilities in those texts. It may seem out of place here, but with some deep thought, think on this. In Matthew 16: 13, 15, the Bible mentions, Jesus asking "who do they say that the Son of man is?" And in Mark 8: 22, 25, one finds, that "Jesus, had to work harder", on his miracle and redo it. With all the questions, that it may raise, I ask " did Jesus have trouble in "fine-tuning ", his " feeling tones " in these events!" Jumping ahead to more recent times, and that actually involve " time ", some mind-boggling concepts came to light.
By reading books written by, Jane Roberts / Seth, what we call " time " is some what clarified, but still not, well understood. Coupled with the " time " event read, the Seth material, further explains a situation of " multiple realities ", that helped put the " time and events " into clearer perspective. Now the possibility, is there, to understanding, why a psychic might not be able to " hone " in on a closer " feeling tone " that could relate to a " posed " event. Simple, right!
I don't think so! Now we enter, what I will call, the twilight zone, of comprehension.
Here is where one can get mired in " wow " and really start thinking " that is crazy ", so it'll help if, you keep an open mind to " possible future probabilities".
Wait now, we've only entered " crazy ", the worst is yet to come.
Seth goes on to explain, that our individual " probable futures " ( notice the plural ) are not necessarily things or events that " will happen ", but things or events, that " could happen ". Now comes in, what, according to the Jane Roberts / Seth material ( and if true ) " Everything we think but don't act upon ", takes on the energy of that thought, and goes sailing, into an " alternate reality ", continuing " it's " life at the point, from, when it left you. Are you still with me! Just as difficult to comprehend, is that a group of scientists, stated, that we are all, " blinking on and off, all the time "! With that in mind, another question comes up, " where are we, when, we are not " in, the present blink! So where is this all going? If any of the above " could " apply, one could probably say, the psychic " tuned " into your " alternate reality ", that had nothing to do with your " current reality " and the " posed " theme, ( a total miss ) on what, you were trying to find out about.
Consider the times you may have thought or said something like this:
I'm just not myself today .....
I don't know why I said that ......
Why did I do that ....
I just drove 150 mile and have no awareness of how I got here .....
I felt like I was floating in space ......
I was jolted awake by what felt like a severe shock to my body ...
Can only ponder, which alternate reality, was kicking in or out at the time!
Maybe, somebody, more in the know, was telling us something with movies and stories like: " Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, Back To The Future, Star Trek, and What The Blank Do We Know ". And TV series like Medium, and Ghost Whisperer, and other programs of that nature. With a little training, one could probably do their "own" readings and be more accurate. Based on the law of averages, one could be correct 50% of the time.
This is so wild, but interesting!

# 9 How Do I Know If I'm Psychic!

Good question, but totally unnecessary. We all entered this physical world with psychic abilities. So what happened to all of these abilities? Well, they are still there, unrecognized of course, with only rare occasions of usage. Little things like knowing who is on the phone when it rings, finding a parking place in a busy area, having a sense of danger to one of your children, and other little events similar to these, indicates psychic activity. Coincidence, you say! Could be! But not really. The process of growing up, is where we start learning to diminish those psychic abilities. Now, I'm not able to prove what is said here, and I'm not going to try, but try this for "could it be true." One needs to relearn the process, not learn, but re-learn. Work with your "Babbler", or whatever you want to call it, in private, and pay attention to what takes place. Why in private! It's problematic enough even thinking about psychic ability, much less having someone seeing you and hearing you, doing your activation, relearning process. Of course, you'll experience, many awkward moments in doing so. Moments of "this is stupid" and other similar thoughts. That's okay, just ignore those thoughts, and learn to smile through it all.
I used to get so frustrated, when I would read, that this or that well-known psychic, was experiencing psychic phenomena, during their early childhood. Those little things, like seeing and talking to aunt Martha, who had passed away one year ago. Or speaking to their unseen playmates. Oh yes, I had a vivid imagination, at the age of 10 and up, and my playmates were people like "Mandrake, the Magician", "the Shadow", "Jack Armstrong", from the comics and listening to the radio. For me though, it's was mimicking their actions, as I don't recall seeing any one. Now, I'm not in any sense of the word, an accomplished psychic. But enough incidents have taken place, to thoroughly convince me, on what is taking place. I still fumble and at times question my sanity about those times, when that little "Voice" gives a response to a "posed" question. Nothing dramatic, no high blaring volume, just a "feeling tone voice" that still needs to be interpreted. Generally, the first impression is the valid one, if you endeavor to logically interpret that "feeling tone voice", you'll mess it up. Where do they come from, these "feeling tones voices", more important though, is "who" or "what" originated it, both the question, and what seems like the answer! So, from that perspective, one is only a step away, from being hauled away in a white restraining jacket.
Not a pleasant thought is it.
Notice also, that I have given my inner voice (at least one of them) (LOL) recognition by naming it "Babbler". Rather than having a wild uncontrolled "inner voice" I did, decades back, realize, the value of this ally inside me and learned to use it. It may seem, that I'm overly emphasizing the sanity aspect, but it is important to look at this scenario through the eyes of another person. What would you think about a person describing hearing "voices" in their head! Have had many occasions where I just had to smile, and laugh at what I was doing it times. Like, sitting or standing, eyes closed, making motions with my hands, somewhat like petting a cat or a dog, while moving my lips in a silent prayer.
(I'm even chuckling now, doing this write-up)
Haven't tried it yet, but will try a search on the web looking for "silly feelings+ psychic+ learning" and see what comes up. All stories about psychics, seem to start, once they've achieved prominence. Maybe some of them experienced, some of the things I speak on here, but didn't want to talk or write about it. Oh well, like heard in a song a long time ago. "What a fool am I", I don't recall the name of the song though.
There were many books read that highly influenced me. One I have already mentioned "The Secret of The Ages", another is "The Art of True Healing" by Israel Regardie, this goes back to the late 1960s, at that time it was ISBN 0 900448 20 2, should check this out for you, but I'll leave that up to you. This particular book is a greatly simplified version, of what is a very complicated system, that was used in the "Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn". Many Eastern and European, secret and mystic societies used techniques, based upon what is called "The Tree of Life".
Some of these processes are a lifetime endeavor. There are many sub-features involved, where you will hear about "Inner Pillar", "Outer Pillar" and titles of that nature. Some very beautiful, and beneficial practices. In Regardie's book is described, what is called "The Middle Pillar", and you will find dozens of variances in books by other titles.
The how and what of it, in these other titles, is of course, greatly modified to suit the desires of those promoting these methods.I won't detail here, the ways Regardies book is to be used, get the book and read it.
Will say, though, it will lead you into trained creative imagination.

# 8 How Does One Explain These Little Incidents !

How does one explain these little incidents.
The time frame is not relevant, only what took place at that time.
Walking home from work late one evening. Decided to cut through some farmland as a short cut to get home. On one side is a cornfield with rows of corn standing six to seven feet high. Bright moon is shining. As I reached the end of the rows of core and just before I would make a turn a feeling tone of "stand still" was felt. So I stood there for a moment or so and lifted my foot to make the turn around the end of the corn field. So there I am half around the corner, one foot raised in the air, and I see a family of skunks. I froze in mid-stride. I'm looking at the larger animal and it appeared that the larger animal was checking me out. If you know what skunks can do, you can appreciate why I did not move at all. The larger animal started walking again, passing under my raised foot. Imagination or not, I thought I felt the quills of the skunk brushing the bottom of my shoe. Fortunately nothing else happened.

The incidents that I speak on and about, were in different periods of my career. I mention this only to clarify the incidents described.We needed to install the head end on a freestanding 50 foot tower. That involved a rotator and antenna assembly. While we are installing the tower we ordinarily use a safety belt. Once the tower is installed it would only take 20 minutes or so to install the head end. We used a pulley and tackle to hoist the head end assembly to the top. My fellow coworker requested that he go up this time to complete the assembly. So there he is way up at the 50 foot level, and is almost done. Of course, I am there at the base of the tower looking upwards when a strange "feeling tone" comes into me. I holler up to my coworker "belt up". He shouts back "I'm almost done". I am the supervisor so to speak and I yell "belt now" and just at that very moment the ambient outside noise goes quiet. I hear the click of a safety belt buckle as it was angrily clipped to the tower tubing. At that very moment a gust of wind hit and blew my coworker off and away from the tower and flipped him up side down. Of course he screamed and yelled. So did I. The safety belt had saved him from being blown away and killed in the 50 foot fall. Yes yes, it was pure stupid not to always use the safety belt, but we learn from our mistakes, if we survive them.

My father was in electronics, back in the days when there was no television and the radio was just coming into prominence. Just a little note of interest here, Philo T. Farnsworth is the "father of TV" not as generally said, David Sarnoff, of RCA. Also on September 7, 2006 was the 79th anniversary of the first transmitted TV signal and it consisted of only one single line. Now back to my incident. I had just finished upgrading my computer system, thinking of all the
amazing devices that were installed. While I was sitting there I thought "dad, you would be flabbergasted to see all of this". The next thing I know, a loud voice comes in, but it's all in my head, "yes, but I'm seeing it through you now". When I heard that voice, I nearly fell out of my chair. So I question, did all this really happen or was it just my imagination !

No flashing lights, no headline banners, just that hard to describe "feeling tone" that one learns to listen too. Will be more of these events coming up for posting.

Psychic Intuition and the Babbler
Am pleased that some readers are sharing their stored memories and taking their valuable time to add comments. As mentioned in a prior post, reader comments reflect subconscious memories that their "Babbler" is busy ferreting and winnowing at a rapid pace. ( See "Conversations With Me" ) On where these memories and emotions are stored, was (if its true) an interesting venture. Did cover that aspect in my "Razors Edge" blog and won't retell it here. The very fact that one's " Babbler" does retrieve information that was long ago experienced and forgotten is amazing.( below, is some what a cut and paste job to reflect my thoughts and feelings on a hard to clarify subject, and helped to put a bit of perspective and theme to psychic activity as I see it. Have read that the word "psychic", is counterproductive and that the word "intuition" be used in its stead. Perhaps I should do that. Naa, I'll just use both words as I see fit. ) In order to become attuned to intuition you will need to become more aware of the psychological forces that lie below the surface of the conscious mind. You must listen to your inner voice,
( I call this voice Babbler ) trust your hunches and pay careful attention to the content of your dreams.
( will show up in future posts ) If you do this you will become in harmony with yourself and unlock creative powers that you never realised you had. Intuition is a wonderful word ( but not the word psychic ! ) because it means so many different things to different people. It has a long tradition of use in philosophy, mathematics, business, psychology, engineering, linguistics, music, literature, religion, and science , particularly with reference to the creative processes. Some of the many definitions and understandings of intuition are mutually inconsistent. Still, the basic definition is simple. According to the Random House Dictionary of the English Language(second edition, unabridged), intuition is "direct perception of truth, fact, etc., independent of any reasoning process; immediate apprehension." Another definition from the same dictionary refers to intuition as "a keen and quick insight." Other definitions stress that the intuitive process is itself unconscious. ( is why Babbler is needed ) Intuition, then, is "knowing without knowing how you know." ( is what I call being psychic and a feeling tone ) Is there any possibility of rationally investigating spiritual intuitions? Can we begin to reasonably probe the realm of spirits and the mysterious ( I referenced this as Spirit, Soul and Body ) journeying of the human soul? Modern scholarship is divided on this issue. In spite of the diverse perspectives offered through different cultural lenses, the penetrating minds of Aldous Huxley and Huston Smith claim that they can recognize a "perennial philosophy" or a "primordial tradition" that flows through all esoteric thinking. This common ground, they maintain, involves a pattern in which the human soul grows in depth and wisdom as it approaches its ultimate destination of divine union. ( this is scheduled for future posts ) Other scholars, in the post-modern deconstructionist tradition, such as Ninian Smart, maintain that the experiences of the world's mystics are unique and cannot be compared. The converging insights and methodologies from psi research, the testimony of spiritual experience, and the broad field of intuition suggest to me that we have the potential to use intuitive consensus in a disciplined fashion as a tool for exploring realms of consciousness that have previous been relegated to philosophy, mythology and theology. Behind our normal consciousness lies the vast untapped world of the unconscious. Here, are locked away billions of memories and incredible skills that we never use. Every one of us is a secret genius. The unconscious is capable of amazing creativity, inventiveness and mental agility. For example, experiments with hypnosis have shown that it is possible to remember just about anything. Things that are impossible to remember normally, such as what you had for lunch on July 15th 1994, can be recalled with perfect clarity during hypnotic trance. All of this knowledge is locked away in the unconscious and can be utilized if we allow our intuition to do its job. The intuition ( psychic ability ) is something we all have. For most people it remains a mysterious force that works when we least expect it.

Metaphysics, did that word cause you pause? I think not. How about the word "religion" , did that shake you up? No! Yet if one says the word, "occult", most will raise an eyebrow of "Oh.Oh", with various looks of surprise or even question your sanity. Most people have never taken the time to look up the word and fail to understand its true meaning. Most will apply only what they have heard about it, all of it being nasty. So, you say my religion forbids its practice! Practice of what? Do you read the bible! Oh, you nasty occultist. From my point of view, ( even if I do have issues with the good book ) the bible is a beautiful tome of occult material. It even mentions dozens of Master Occultists. Yes, yes , I know many will frown on the words just stated, but to me its a truth. Once past the killing, mass killings, rape, slavery and other bone chilling events, look for the real beauty buried in many of the stories. Reread the words of the Master Jesus. Lets get to the bottom line, the punch words. Can you make any sense of whats happening in our world? Can you make any sense of what your life is all about? Questions like just mentioned, are what lead me to inquire of life," what is this all about"! So years of digging, research, tossing out the bible, finding out that the bible needed to be dug out of where I tossed it, and reviewing all data with a critical eye. Did I get all the answers? Sorry to say , nope. But I did finally start to understand, that there is more to life , than what meets the eye. That there are jewels of wisdom scattered around in numerous books, yes including the bible. Is my life easier for having discovered these jewels, not entirely yet, but making progress. So it was to my delight when I found another source of information that will, I believe enhance my understanding of what its all about.

Conversations With Me
Well Ancient One , what pearls of wisdom are you entertaining today? Hey smart ass, that sounded like a poke in the ribs! Anyway, who are you? Why are you talking like you got an "in" to say things to me! Hey Ancient One , slow down now, I'm the "voice" that people hear in their head all the time. Of course though, everyone has their own unique special voice that works 24 /7 to keep you on your toes. Most of the times , people just call me " Babbler". Have been called by many other unkind names though. My job is to keep you aware of "what is happening in you". Generally, I'm free wheeling around through all of your systems, looking for anything that's off kilter, nothing is sacrosanct when I'm prowling around. My job is to call it as I see it. From my much maligned point of view, I'm blamed for most of your troubles unfairly. Again I say, I only find it and report it. You , my friend are responsible for what I find. Oh sure, some of my buddy Babblers have gone off the deep end, and in a left handed manner start to contribute to your many problems. Consider for a moment that which you feed to us, physically,mentally and spiritually on a 24 / 7 basis. Oh yes, my friend, its all tied together. Unfortunately, problems arise when certain people start looking at you as only a part of what you really are. My friend you were recognized as a spirit, and soul and body, many century's ago. Hey now, I didn't just make that up, check it out, in what is called the bible. You want a hint on where to find it! Ok,Ok. Let me check out the main files. Oh, here it is, 1 Thessalonians 5:23. So if fed a steady diet of crap, its easy to get screwed up. Often, one will seek help from another person, that person can be called by various names or titles. Doctor, priest, rabbi, specialist, regardless, if your not seen as a whole entity ( spirit, soul and body ) conditions can erode rapidly. If my checking you out is met with great amounts of eroded or negative things, that is what I report, I don't interpret. This negative reporting is how, the name "Babbler"got started in the first place. I don't like it, but its not my "call" to change it. Its your "call". I " the Babbler" am a minuscule entity of a vast number of energies that take on intelligence so to speak. When you get a conversation going in your head, with questions, and seeming answers, these are coming from the numerous energy entity's from all levels of "you". So these energies, regardless of what they are called, gods, devils, demons or angels, are all at work, all the time, prompting you in some direction. Depending on how you reacted, is what "you" are. Serious problems have come up though, when certain kinds of doctors are told that "you hear voices" speaking to you. Might be better, if you just kept your thoughts to yourself. Well Ancient One , I the Babbler haves messed around with your thinking process long enough here, what are you going to do about it!

# 4 Mind and Body Training Control

Mind and Body Training Controll.
Ever notice the times you are told to relax, or take it easy, hey you're going to blow a fuse, or even watch your blood pressure or some similar type of worded statement! But how does one do that. To obtain a changed state of mind and an actual state of physical relaxation, one needs to train (start to fine tune) the mind and body to do so. During stress states of mind, relaxation is just not readily achieved. You may gain some, but not maximum control. So are you ready to set a relaxed trigger? What's involved! Breathing, a spot on the wall, a mental picture of a lit candle, eyes open and eyes closed, at whatever time you choose to do so. Just sit and breathe as you ordinarily do. Now find a spot on the wall in front of you, to look at and just breathe normally. Don't turn your head to find that spot, blink normally and don't stare. Do for a few moments, with the eyes open and for a few minutes with the eyes closed. When doing this with the eyes closed, mentally see a lit candle. When doing this with the eyes open, focus on a spot on the wall. Practice doing this for a few days, when ever you have the opportunity. Up to this point you have been breathing normally, while alternating between eyes open focused on a spot, and eyes closed while
visualizing a lit candle. At this point we are going to introduce a slight change in the way you are breathing. What I want you to do now, is to gently inhale a little longer or deeper and take a little longer to exhale. You will need to experiment here a little bit. What we are looking for here, is a fuller but comfortable inhalation with a slightly longer exhalation. When your lungs are comfortably full, don't strain beyond that point. Once you have found your comfortable breathing pattern or rhythm that's what you will stay with. Whether you breathe through your nose or mouth is not important here. So now its practice, practice and more practice.That's it. However long it takes to achieve this trigger will be well worth it to you. There will come a day that you will realize that you automatically triggered a relaxation mode. With just a little more effort you will learn to deliberately enter that relaxation mode. That is what we are looking for. Problem going to sleep, do a eyes closed, with lit candle routine.Just walked away from a meeting and you are ready to explode with anger, do a quick eyes open routine. Encountering a little road rage, just do the deep breathing part, please don't close your eyes.
Want to tune your psychic level, or do some healing actions, use any combination of eyes open / eyes closed routines, plus, what ever other process you would normally use. # 3 Psychic Here and There

Let's touch on some thoughts and views that are often points of interest.There will always be controversy regards psychic activity. People like Randi are quite vocal about it. Again, I do not try to convince anyone that I'm psychic. I know I am, just as I also believe, all people are so endowed. Does that make me special, no. Does it make my life easier and the answer here is, both, yes and no. Why I answered that way is due to the various levels one can be functioning at. Use of the words, various levels, can I do believe, cause confusion. (Words do get in the way when trying to explain things like this) I am going to use a radio as an example. Let the radio represent psychic activity. Now we are faced with a number of variables with using the radio as an example. Are you ready! Is it an expensive or low-priced radio? What's the difference to ask? How one can control the radio is the main reason. Recall from an earlier post, the words "fine tune". Oh, here is the key reason, how many knobs or slider controls are on the radio? If it is a simple on/off with volume control, that is one switch only. If we have an expensive radio with on/off, bass, treble, balance control, and a fine tuning eye for stereo, with high-end speakers, we have six control factors. Which radio do you believe would give the better control of what you would be listening to. Oops, nothing is working, oh-oh we forgot to plug the cord into an electrical outlet, or the battery is dead. Do you see where I 'm heading. So now, the same applies with psychic activity. Little things, like how at ease are you, are you really relaxed! Are you aware of the shoe that is pinching a toe and is the collar of your shirt to tight, if so, you are not ready to proceed. You can only think/perceive one thing at a time, not two things simultaneously. Yes, one could say my shoe is pinching, I'm sweating, and am angry at the person that knocked the mirror off my car. That is three things you were thinking, simultaneously , right! Wrong. You can only think of one thing at a time. But it happens so fast that you believe you thought these all at once. Also a quality radio will have built-in filters to nullify static, hiss and cross channel noise. The same is required with ones mind activity. With the radio you just turn knobs, the mind you need to train. Yes, you need to train, practice and apply until you start getting the desired results. How difficult is that training to do, only you can answer. How interested are you? All of these matters are involved but not generally recognized. Are you going to be self-taught or are you going to use a professional class like Silva or Alpha. To top all that off, is or will be times when tuning in just doesn't happen. Sometimes it's much easier to grab a handful of smoke and put it in a jar as opposed to grabbing a psychic theme from your mind thoughts. There are no blinking signs showing a message, no banner headlines flying, only a "sense of a theme". If one acts to quickly, pow, it's gone before you get a hold of it. So timing and relaxation is one key. Of course there are many others also. If you've ever watched "Medium, Ghost Whisperer or Ghost", one can see how frustrating, rewarding and ephemeral the action can be.

# 2 ON BEING PSYCHIC and HOW IT ALL STARTED

The events that I will be posting, are not in any particular sequence. If I were doing a book, which I'm not, structure and theme, would be called for. Any write-up on a subject can bring ones thinking to a dead end rapidly. Believe with writing it's called "writers block", when doing a presentation, it's called "freezing" up, so from past experience, and to avoid any of that, I do a "just say it" and arbitrate it, later method. So here, I'm going to write it and make corrections and adjustments as I proceed. Another aspect is that one endeavors for such perfection, that perhaps, nothing gets posted or written, with that in mind , here it is ! Oh yes, one can get into deep trouble, fast, with certain quick outbursts. I learned fast, dont be reckless, when in the "just say it" mode. With this in mind, and once the cards (words) are down, one pretty much knows the direction to proceed with. So as events come to mind now, that is where I will be, regardless, of the "when it did it happen". Have always had a fascination with topics on spirit, soul and body, as mentioned in the Bible. ( Dont want to enter the bible / religion arguments here, as thats not where this blog post is headed, but I did use the bible along with other books, in what I was looking and searching for) So, what does the spirit, soul and body (see prior post) have to do with psychic activity you ask! From my viewpoint, if one has a body, there is a high probability of a soul and / or spirit. ( How to prove these things is the exasperating part ) Many little odd, unusual, strange incidences experienced over the years, just didnt jibe at those times, with my thinking processes. Will post them in future writes.So when I dared to step out of the dogmatic box of my beliefs and religion, and started reading books, like " The Secret Of The Ages" by Robert Collier. What a shocker, that reading proved to be, in view of my belief factors at that time of my life. Here is a memo that I wrote that sums up where my thinking processes were at that time. My Memo as written about it:
" Even though this happened in what seems like centuries ago, vivid are some memories ( not all ) of the tears and frustrations in the learning process. When there is the back-drop in ones life of “consistent lack of “, some words, are meaningless. Guess we were so poor , that we didn’t even qualify for being called poor. Used to watch some kids eating meat and fruit, while a real treat for us, was to have some lard spread on a slice of bread. So, in reading my new found information, stating that” you can have whatever you want in life” it did tickle my funny bone. Picture it, we ran out of pay check with three weeks still left in the month and I’m hearing “you can have whatever you want”. What dream world did this author ( Robert Collier , The Secret of the Ages ) live in! Well, did finish reading the book. Than laid it on a shelf for many months, and in moments of deep frustration and “poor me” thinking, the bible and that book came into play. Not going to talk bible things at this point, but needed to reference authors that did have more credence with me, at the time. There were other mind bogglers that I took with a grain of salt, when reading them. ( enter a new style of research ) When I read the words of The Master Jesus, stating “These things that I do, so shall ye , do”, I could only shake my head in disbelief. I’m having problems reaching the end of the month , money wise, and am being told that I can or should be able to raise the dead, change water to fine wine, walk on water, feed a multitude of people with a couple fish and so on. Back to the book. Now a thought is there, is the Master Jesus a liar or did he speak the truth? If the Truth was spoken by The Master Jesus, maybe, just maybe, Collier has a good thing going, concept wise. "Having dared to step out of the box of religious dogma, authors of other germane titles were added to my changing beliefs and growing library. Will, in a future post list the titles and authors that highly influenced my thinking. Looking into my past activities, I would now say, that my " fine tuning processes " commenced with the reading of both, the bible and "The Secret of The Ages".

# 1 So You Think Your Psychic, Why !

Having a psychic experience, is often overlooked, as just an every day event. No thought is given to the experience. Yet it could well have been just that, a psychic event. Just a hunch, intuition, call what you will, its there. Psychic activity covers a broad spectrum of experiences. Its not a narrow little band of action.
I'm not going to try and convince anyone, that they are in fact psychic. We all are at various times functioning at some psychic level. Like a radio or TV set, that needs dial turning, or channel switching to hear or see some thing better, one can learn to fine tune their psychic ability. Why would one want to do that! The "why" of it of course would vary for each individual. Given reasons for example, might be specific, but winnowing the why down to simple terms, would fall into these categories: change,improving,or eliminating. Of course these three areas can be further clarified, but the list would be endless. Would ones life be free of illness,trouble free, full of wonderful relationships,and winning the lottery! Not necessarily, but the potential is there.
